CreativityI know I have been posting a bit too much about pastries, but I know deep down you too are not complaining.

The Nairobi Cake festival was upon us and what better way to indulge my sweet tooth for a good cause, spend quality time with some good friends, enjoy the weather and to top it take the Nairobi Safari walk.

First of all I have to commend the organizers for selecting the location as well as how the whole event turned out with no hitches. However there were baboons who brought some extra excitement as they started joining the crowd for some cake. They were very peacefully did not harm anyone and as soon as they had some cake they walked back to their habitats.

I saw and learnt a lot which I wish I could share with you guys. I took so many photos and when editing I realized they were over 200. I have shared with you my favorites.  The topping though was the pastries that were on display on the judging table. They included the flowers, the tree log that was vivid and  our winner the sliced calabashes that were virtually pouring milk onto other calabashes while suspended on the air. I hope they worn.

We can’t wait for next year God willing, we totally enjoyed ourselves.
