This is one of my favorite dishes any day since I don’t have to spend a lot of time preparing it and the results are equally healthy and delicious. With the limited time on my hands I find it tasking to make meals that are complicated and it is as a result that I have learnt to make simple, healthy and yummy meals.
The secret to any delicious meal is mastering the art of the right seasoning and that’s all. With some ginger and garlic you are on your way a simple beef stir fry. I like my dish to have a bit of a kick and to achieve this I add black pepper, turmeric and a bit of chili for some heat.
You want to begin by marinating your beef stripes in the black pepper, bay leaves, garlic, ginger, turmeric and chili for about 15 minutes. This ensures that the flavors in the spices above sip into the beef.
While the beef is marinating I like to start preparing the rice. Seasoned with some cardamon seeds, salt and a bit of vegetable oil while ensuring that the ratio of the water to the rice is right for the rice to be thoroughly cooked.I like to use vegetables that are easy and straight forward to prepare i.e spring onions, tomatoes, carrots, red and green peppers. These are readily available throughout the year in any grocery market.
I served this dish with some rice that I seasoned with some salt, added cardamon seeds and some vegetable oil.
