What are you having for breakfast?
I know majority of us ate lots of bread growing up. At the time margarine spread was a must and/or the jam. I loved this combination.
But as I grew up the monotony I guess became boring and I started exploring other breakfast options. Lately I love spreading some peanut butter on it and/or adding some other protein and fruit spreads.

When they say that the best things in life are free it is true but they are also simple. As I grew up I came to learn that despite Githeri being mums favourite meal it was both part of our inheritance and culture.

When making the Githeri, she always ensured that it was loaded with lots of vegetables ranging from carrots, potatoes, pumpkins, tomatoes etc. I don’t think that I ever tired of the meal until I boarded in high school. WHEN THEY SAY REPETITION IS BORING THIS IS TRUE MY FRIENDS. THE DISH WHICH WAS SERVED DAILY DID NOT CONFORM TO THE STANDARDS I WAS USED TO!!! Read more
